Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. Many thanks to Mike York of OTW Comics for sharing this holiday belly laugh that reminds us we need to tackle NAIS in 2007. This USDA sponsored program is poised to require RFID-tagging of all livestock, many animals we keep as pets--and, yes, even reindeer.

Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and an item-level-RFID-free New Year!

This is a very cute reminder that we all need to do something to oppose the National Animal Identification System (NAIS). It will affect more than just what you eat...that is a promise!

Need suggestions? Write 'Letters to the Editor’, write your representatives at all levels including county, introduce NoNAIS legislation in your state, talk to alternative and main media, pass out flyer or hold a protest.

It is the holiday season where we have a few days off and can all do something to help protect our food security: saying NO to NAIS! Give a gift this season that keeps giving. By saying NO to NAIS you are protecting your family, your country, and your health.

Happy Holidays & Cheers Y'all,

Hello all,

Just wanted to thank Liz for putting this up on her blog. Nice to see my work out there and I hope everyone enjoys it. I originaly did this and sent it to Coast to Coast AM after I heard a show that talked about this subject.

I hope and pray that the folks at SPYCHIPS.com keeps up their hard work to fight this.

Anyway just wanted to say thank and tell every Merry CHRISTmas.

Thanks,

Mike York OTW Comics

P.S. My wife has urged me to get a pro site going so that is what i will be working on in the next few months. When I do I will let everyone know including the SPYCHIPS webmaster.

I've written to my congressman a few times now. While that is a cute cartoon, reality is that trouble is brewing.

Thanks,
Barney
